Each month we celebrate a member who has shown outstanding spirit on the trail. Our first Hiker of the Month will be announced on 1 November, recognising October's standout hiker.

We're moving our events home to Wakahi — but we're not leaving Meetup. International events and the 2028 Great Walks are now published on both, with RSVPs handled here on Wakahi.
Events already on Meetup (such as the 2027 Great Walks) stay fully on Meetup, and we add a Wakahi forum topic for each. New Zealand events will transition gradually over time.
